I doubt it's hit US news but in AU its a top story...There have been three shark attacks in the last two days (one really close to Sydney) and they have spotted tons of sharks off Sydney's beaches including hammerheards and "monster" great whites. They say that the shark population has increased by 80% over the last couple of years and that they have made their home here. Thankfully all the shark attack victims have survived by punching the sharks in the head and sticking their hands in the sharks' eyeballs. Kind of scary.
