New View

After a year of living in our digs we decided it was time to move on up. So we spent the last few weekends packing, shopping, moving, and unpacking but it is well worth it! A little more space and a lot more view! Although it is completely unfurnished. Its funny that here in Australia, appliances dont come with a place either...no fridge or washer or dryer, etc. However Jared and I survived a big Ikea trip.

We have already enjoyed our new flat, including the sunset from our balcony each evening. We were able to get set up in enough time to have some friends over to enjoy it too...first our new neighbors Ben and Laura, then Garry and Louise and lastly Dan and Chez. Tomorrow we will also catch Pat and Nicole when they are back to Manly from their trip to the states before we head off.

Tonight though we get to catch the annual block christmas party and are looking forward to it. All of our new neighbors are very nice.
