Christmas in July 2011

The annual trip to the Blue Mountains for Christmas in July...

This year we had a house full of 17 people.  Thats a lot of mouths to feed!  Luckily we had an amazing mansion for the weekend with huge kitchen, fridge, and stove.  We were more than prepared.  As the only Americans there, I made sweet potato cassarole, pumpkin pie, and apple, pear & cranberry crumble.  The rest of the Englanders and Aussies made the turkey, ham, stuffing, yorkshire puddings, roast potatos and parsnips, and mulled wine.  It was delicious and I was impressed. 

To top the holiday weekend off, there was presents, christmas carols, christmas movies, and a visit from Santa!
