Lasts

This is the month of lasts...last summer in Australia, last month in Sydney, last weekend of beach volleyball, last show at the Opera house, last Wednesday night dinner with the manly secondees, and last brekkie in manly.  *Sigh*

So we kicked it off right with a week holiday in our last Australian state visited and last wine region...South Australia and the Barossa Valley.

Three days in the Barossa touring wineries and relaxing in our cute boutique cottages.  And now I know why the Barossa is so famous for its wine.  We came home with six bottles from our favorites: Langmeil, Torbreck, Murray Street and Hentley Farms.  It does help that Barossa specialises in big reds - my favorite!

But the main reason for heading to South Australia was Port Lincoln and its shark cage dive.  Thats right, Jared and I have been dying to do a shark cage dive and our new friends Stefanie and Jayme decided to come too.  We all battled huge waves and seasickness for it too!  After watching the sharks feed from above we jumped in for a swim with them up close.  Even Jared's mother last a few seconds in the cage.
