Ski Season has begun!
The last few months have gone incredibly fast and I am not ready for the holiday season...but a weekend in the mountains took care of that. I am learning to absolutely love the mountains. Its my new beach.
Last weekend my new friend Anna had her bachelorette party in St Anton, Austria. There were 7 girls and not only was it a great weekend of skiing, it was my first girls weekend since arriving...LONG OVERDUE. Three days of dancing to make up for it!
We had a great time skiing and at the apres ski (although my shins still hurt from dancing in my ski boots). I learned though that a few glasses of gluhwein can keep me standing outside in the freezing snow for a good couple of hours and I can ski home in the dark.
Now I am looking forward for the rest of the winter...and that is something I thought would never come out of my mouth.
