Busy Season
Busy season has been...well, extremely busy. I have had to work most weekends but have been trying to restrict it to just one day so I can have some sense of sanity. We have been trying out more restaurants and I have found a great coffee shop in old town. Plus we still have one day to check out some new ski resorts. There are so many!
We've had a couple sets of visitors too so its been great to get out enjoy some of Zurichs special bits. Including Zurichs old churches, breakfast at the Sprungli coffee shop, Fondue for dinner, Sausages for lunch, Hurliman baths (my new favorite place!) and heading out to the Mountains for the day. This gave us the perfect opportunity to put down our skis for a weekend and try sledging (aka, sledding), which was quite fun. Well, you are sledding down a mountain instead of the hills we tackled when we were kids. I would definitely do it again.
This weekend I plan to do more of the same and enjoy the weekend here in Zurich. More coffee shops, the spa, the baths, german homework and maybe some more chocolate shops and proper gym time to try and alleviate all the Swiss goodness!
