Cinque Terra
Cinque Terre is one of those places... It's what post cards are made of. Five towns on the Italian coast surrounded by vineyards, all tumbling off the cliffs and into the Mediterranean Sea.
We stayed at one of the most beautiful of the five towns, Manarola, and spent our days wandering the cute shops, beaches and cafes in all of the towns and hiking along the coast. The cost is rocky which means the beaches are nothing more than rocky outcrops jutting out of the sea from which to soak up thr sun or to jump off of.
The weather was stunning, the sea refreshing, sunsets beautiful and of course the food outstanding. It is Italy after all and it never fails to deliver a great summer holiday.
