Friends in England

It has been six months since we visited our friends in England and they just had a little one so it was time for a weekend trip.  They live in Newbury, just outside of London, but we were here just to see them and not to spend it in London.  However, just like us, they are always up for anything.

So they took us to some new spots...

National Forest - A lovely spot of for an afternoon walk in the Forest and lunch at a country English pub.  We spotted both deer and the wild horses (which you actually cant miss because they are everywhere).

Hever Castle - Another great castle just a drive from London.  This one is small but with a huge history as it was the home of Anne Boylan, the wife of Henry VIII.  It is set in a lovely setting...lakeside surrounded by manicured gardens, swans, and a good coffee café.

More stops in England worth the visit!
