Riley - 11 Months
We have a walking, talking toddler on our hands.
Its Word of the Week over here and we have gone through baby, bottle, papa, more, no, ball, boo (as in peek a boo), book, duck, and mooing like a cow. He says it until he wears it out and then he is on to the next one. And he really understands nearly everything we say to him, everything except "come here" (go figure).
He is walking everywhere now too, he even walks and kicks his balls across the room.
Riley is still pretty easy and loves playing by himself especially now that he can walk. We are currently in the hiding phase - I constantly find toys in baskets, on tables, in my closet, behind doors, in between the couch cushions, under the rug and under the couch. I can never find the tv remotes and I am pretty sure one of his toys went out in the trash.
We have been out more this month with a few ski trips and daycare for Riley. He eats it up. We still are enjoying the pool and zoo during the week. Riley also loves playing hide and seek, pushing buttons and playing in the facet. If he hears the water running he comes running.
He also has started imaginiative play - he makes food, he feeds his baby, you or Monkey while smacking his lips and saying mmmm, he races his car across the floors, over the furniture and up the walls complete with vroom vroom noises, etc.

What I Love About Riley This Month
- How Riley shows affection with hug and kiss when you play with him, take him somewhere or give him a new toy
- How Riley talks with his hands - I am not sure where he got this from and I cant imagine what he is saying.
