Hunter Valley, Australia

Only 14 months since moving to Sydney and already 2 weekend trips to the Hunter.  Its Sydney's neighboring wine region.  Beautiful views, delicious food, and good wines. 

A few of my favorite kid friendly spots:

• Blueberry Hill - Patio tables and a fire looking out at the vineyards,,,perfect for watching the sunset on the last stop of the day.
• Amandas on the Edge - Delicious lunch!  Ask for a table on the porch where you can watch the little ones run around in the yard.
• Piggs Peake - Not a pretty winery but the wines are the best around!
• Tinklers -Wines worthy of dinner guests but good value enough to drink everyday. And a big yard.
• Gun Dog Estate - Solid wines and a box of toys.
