The Central Coast

The Central Coast is just 1.5 hours drive north and beautiful...full of bays and seaside hills and views and more beautiful beaches. So I cant believe we havent really spent much time here. But then we took another weekend trip away with Lisa & Sam, Brady & Paul, Bec & Trev, and Melissa & AJ along with their families and headed this way. Once again we reserved a huge beautiful house for the weekend...this time with pool, boat house, and dock over looking the water.

After enjoying the views from the house saturday morning, the girls ventured out to gorgeous Avoca Beach for an amazing lunch with the bubs before heading back to soak up the sun and the pool for the afternoon. The boys headed their own way, making it to Avoca Beach for some surfing and burgers. And then saturday night we had another huge BBQ. AJ brought along his XBox Kinect including the new dance game for the night. It kept the girls entertained while the boys played their poker as usual.

Sunday afforded some more beaches...this time terrigal (which is not quite as nice as quaint little Avoca). AJ's pick for lunch this time was Hogs Breath (not nearly as nice as the cute cafe at Avoca either). But then we had a short relaxing drive home Sunday night before starting the work week again.
