Jervis Bay 2010

Sadly, we had several friends leave over the last month so our weeks have been filled with happy hours, last weekend brekkies and leaving dos. First it was to see Canadian Kate off and then Sophie and Garry & Louise left us to move back to the UK.

We did reserve one weekend away before they left and rented a house for the weekend back in Jervis Bay, one of our favorite places. The manly crew is slowly dwindling as we reach that two year point when many of our close friends are heading back. So it was just Phillipa, Richard, Natalie, Sophie, Garry, Louise, Jayne, and Jared & I.

The house was huge with a great big balcony overlooking the bay and the beach...perfect for a saturday night bbq and sunday morning brekkie. We even spotted several dolphins from our seats on the balcony! However, the weather has been terrible lately so we were worried that we would be sitting inside all weekend but we lucked out and had a perfect day to head out to the beach. And yes, it is the beach with the whitest sand in the world. Although, the water is still a little chilly and too cold for a dip!
