Bangkok

Bangkok!  I was so excited to get to Bangkok.  Three days of holiday, just me and Jared.  No more running from dinner to dinner trying to squeeze in five minutes with every single person I can.  No more sleeping on couches or floors.

 

And Jared did it up right.  He got us a suite at the Shangri La complete with limousine pick up at the airport and free cocktails at the pool.  Some holidays are made for non stop adventure but this holiday was meant for relaxing. 



 

We had a great view of the river and headed out nightly for sunset drinks and dinner.  AMAZING dinners.  I think the food has ruined me.  I will never be able to eat Thai food again.  Nothing will ever compare.

And by day, we did plenty of laying by the pool but also got out to do some shopping and get some Thai massages. 

Not what you think of when you say Bangkok but absolutely wonderful.
