Riley - First Trip to the States
Everything with our move has come together, including the fact that our flights have been covered by our work. Who gets to fly business class in his own seat at the age of one? Riley, that's who. And it was so worth it. He was able to stretch out for a three hour nap (after we had wore him out before the flight) and was so entertained by all of the buttons and meals, that we barely touched his toys for the whole eight hours! This mama got to eat in peace, watch three movies and drink some wine.
We spent nearly a month between family in Pittsburgh and Arkansas. He took right to his grandparents and cousins. Not to mention all of the new toys to play with (especially his dad's old hot wheels collection). He also got used to riding in the car everywhere. We did all kinds of classic American things - going out for burgers, wings and beers at some of our favourite places, Mexican, farmers markets, ball games, hotdogs and smores on the fire in the backyard, shopping and some southern food (lemonade, crawfish and all).
And as an added bonus we stopped off in Hawaii for a week for some relaxation and to break up the trip to Australia. He loved it...the beach, sand, chickens, the pool, parrots, and feeding the coy fish.
Rileys Stats:

What I love about Riley:
- To see him love on his grandparents and cousins
- How adaptable he is
- His facial expressions are exactly like his dad's
