Fall 2010

The year is quickly moving into fall. The mornings and evenings get quite chilly and our new place doesn't have any heat. Thankfully the winter doesn't get much colder than this and Katie has survived so far. Thankfully the sun comes out in the day and it is very nice midday. Although, we may be headed to the mall this weekend for a heater.

The weekends have been full of diving for Jared and volleyball and photography class for Katie. Jared has headed out almost every weekend with his friend Brenda in Shelly Beach and at Palm Beach, a brand new place for him. Katie's last volleyball class has ended but she has found some volleyball friends now to meet up with over the winter and she is ending her second photography course. Its been great but very hard to practice and keep up with the homework. I am sure all our upcoming trips will give her a proper chance to practice. Jared's soccer is still ongoing which gives Katie saturdays to get going on her half marathon training since the lack of effort so far but it is full on now.

Work has been changing drastically. The economy has been picking up over the last year and we can find enough people to schedule our jobs. We have had 56 new hires in Katie's department alone. And a lot of them are secondees including our new friends Aaron and Jennifer from the states! Soon our friends Joe and Annie from Pittsburgh will be coming too and we cant wait. We held our monthly secondee dinner to catch up with all the secondees in the office. They are a great success.

We also held another poker night for Jared and the boys while the girls had a relaxing evening to introduce Aaron and Jennifer to the group. Then we joined AJ and M for dinner and a John Mayer concert the next weekend. With plenty of wednesday night dins and weekend brekkie's in between.
