Birthday Weekend
This month I turn 30 and I am so excited! I have been looking forward to this birthday for awhile. The turning of a decade. I have been so blessed in life and am exactly where I want to be. And this birthday represents a reason to celebrate it all.
As most of my closest friends are in America or Australia, I decided to do a small weekend away instead of a big bash. Jared planned it all out and it was a complete surprise to me.
First stop Montreaux on Lake Geneva. This side of Lake Geneva has some of the most beautiful scenery there is. Cliffs of wine vineyards falling into the expansive lake with small neat Swiss villages sprinkled throughout and all overlooking the gorgeous Alps on the other side. You can take the wine train or hike yourself between the wineries. We did a little of both.
But that was just for the first two days...
Day 3 and 4 were spent in stunning Chamonix, France and some breathtaking hiking - glaciers mountains, valleys, and forests.
And all the fun is not over....Next stop Maldives to spend my birthday present thanks to my wonderful boyfriend!
